During a visit to Calgary this summer Matt decided there were too many mosquitos along the river shore. His solution to help alleviate the problem was to build a dam where the river forked so that water flowed down both channels again (and thus eliminating the mosquito breeding grounds in the mucky puddles along the previously dry channel).
His project took a couple of days but by the end of the week he had success!
(The channel on the left was dry before Matt built his dam)
